Who you are
- A proven track record in running direct marketing campaigns and processes for business development and sales, preferably within the creative, digital product and/or technology sectors
- Consultative marketing, with active listening skills, offering valuable insights towards optimal solutions
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility and trust with key stakeholders, both written and verbal
- A deep understanding of direct marketing principles, practices and techniques
- Demonstrable ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on market trends and opportunities
- Results-driven and target-oriented, with a passion for achieving and exceeding business goals
What the job involves
- Build a repeatable business development process that reflects our values
- Research prospect clients, understand their challenges and opportunities, and work with the delivery team to support your reach out comms
- Perform direct marketing activities and campaigns that build trust with a targeted audience using our value proposition to highlight what we do and why we do it
- Engage with partners, influencers and introducers to build a network of referrers
- Qualify leads using a proven method
- Set up credible prospecting meetings and create seamless opportunity handovers using Hubspot
- Develop and distribute an easy-to-digest monthly progress report that give teams insights into the strategies that are working and the optimisations to come
- Think like a consultant, always identifying and solving problems

DataTruth is tapping into the drive for enterprises to become more data-led in their decision making. The London-based consultancy offers a range of boutique services, from business strategy to technical hiring, to platform and API development and interim leadership roles.
Though a relatively small team, DataTruth is made up of technical leads, software engineers and data scientists with specialist experience from the likes of Gov.uk, NatWest, and RBS. Indeed, it’s this collective experience that the company leverages to set itself apart as a team of experts.
Considering the huge volume of SaaS data solutions available to enterprises today, DataTruth’s more bespoke approach is somewhat novel. It’s an approach that seems to be working however. For example, the company has delivered front end solutions for NatWest’s digital consumer bank Bó, and a cloud-based data platform for the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
