Who you are
- He ideal candidate will be proficient in managing the development of print and digital marketing deliverables for multi-brand organizations and have experience in UX/UI design
- 7+ years of experience; professional services graphic design experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- UX/UI experience highly-preferred
- Creative, organized, and highly motivated individual with a keen eye for design and attention to detail
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative while also being a team player
- Ability to maintain top-quality work in a high-volume environment
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Canva, Figma, Hotjar, CrazyEgg, and/or Microsoft Clarity a plus
- Experience with video editing, animation, and/or motion graphics a plus
- Must be able to provide a design portfolio of past work upon request
What the job involves
- Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a talented London-based Senior Graphic Designer to join our global Brand Marketing Team
- The Senior Graphic Designer will report directly to the SVP Brand Marketing
- What You’ll Do:
- The Senior Graphic Designer champions visual storytelling and is a creative visionary who can bring the CHG product mix to life via compelling creative direction and visual language
- This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing the visual identity and standards for a portfolio of brands as well as executing the strategic vision of marketing materials, brand photography and videography, sales enablement collateral, property signage, company pitches/presentations, and more
- This position will sit on the Brand & Communications Team and work closely with the Performance Marketing Team to support Demand Generation and Regional Marketing efforts
- Set the tone for creative direction across core CHG brands, including supporting a major brand evolution initiative
- Manage all aspects of creative ideation, drafting, design iteration and production
- Design and format marketing materials including print and digital ads, mailers, event/trade show signage, email templates, multimedia assets, and social media graphics
- Design sales enablement collateral including one-sheets, brochures, bi-annual menus, and package/proposal decks
- Provide art direction for property photo shoots. Ensure the capture of quality imagery aligned with brand standards
- Creative collaboration on global and regional campaign development
- Leverage UX/UI experience to assist with website design and architecture
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to design pitch/presentation decks and lead the creation of supporting infographics
- Identify collateral that can be templatized for scalability. Build templates and subsequently guidelines for updating. Enforce brand standards for quality control
- Manage art direction and assist with visual development of video production assets

Convene provides co-working space and meeting locations inside office buildings. It was founded to change the way people meet and work, and also to revolutionise how office buildings offered hospitality services to tenants.
Convene's revenue decreased by over 60% in 2020, after the pandemic disrupted its in-person events. In response to this, the company has diversified into the video meetings market. It hosts virtual and hybrid events that more closely resemble the feeling of attending a live business conference. Users can attend the conferences online and interact with the speakers, the hosts, and other attendees in private video chats.
Convene has done well to navigate the macro challenges and reinvent itself, but there will be more challenges to come; Convene also operates in a market with big players, such as Zoom. However, in 2023, the company acquired etc.venues, widening Convene's net to the UK and establishing it as one of the largest premium and event venue companies in the US and UK with 38 locations across the two countries. The goal now is to generate a revenue of $100 million a year by 2025 and it hopes its virtual operations will form a larger percentage of this.
