- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in growth creative strategy at an in-house DTC/e-commerce brand with a proven track record of developing, testing, and scaling high-performing ad creative across paid media channels. Comfortable working across spreadsheets, storyboards, and creative data dashboards to drive creative decision-making
What the job involves
- Ritual is seeking a data-driven and experienced Creative Strategist to join our Growth team and lead the development of performance-driven creative across paid media channels
- This role will be responsible for concepting, testing, and optimizing high-performing ad creative to drive growth while ensuring a structured, data-informed approach to creative iteration
- Sitting at the intersection of Growth and Creative, this position requires both strategic thinking and analytical rigor to bridge creative vision with performance insights
- You will report to the Senior Manager of Growth and collaborate cross-functionally with teams including Creative, Brand, Customer Insights, Influencer, Affiliate, Digital Product, and more to develop best-in-class performance creative
- Develop and scale high-performing creative by producing and iterating on ad creatives weekly, informed by competitive research, customer insights, and market trends
- Support creative production cycle with ad agencies, video editors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution, timely delivery, and performance-driven optimizations
- Maintain a structured creative testing approach by continuously iterating on learnings, optimizing performance, and supporting a high volume of ad creatives across multiple channels
- Own creative reporting by analyzing performance data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable strategies to optimize future creative development
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Brand, Creative, Data, and Product teams to ensure creative excellence and strategic alignment
Our take
Ritual sells health supplements tailored for women direct-to-consumer, with a strong focus on ingredient ethicality, traceability and transparency. Its products include multivitamins, plant based protein and Omega 3 – as well as a noteworthy prenatal vitamin, which was inspired by founder & CEO Katerina Schneider’s fruitless search for a similar product while pregnant.
The brand takes a strong position, labeling itself a team of skeptics who don’t subscribe to pseudoscience. Instead, the company conducts deep scientific research, whilst demanding more transparency in supplement ingredients – in fact, even its product capsules are clear colored. It’s a standout stance to take, going against the often over-positive wellness messages crafted by similar companies.
The health supplement industry is a crowded space in the US. Legacy providers dominate the market while conscious startups like Ritual try to appeal to equally conscious consumers. Ritual’s future success will depend largely on increasing its already strong brand awareness, as indicated by a huge social media following, and further product launches, an approach it’s admittedly well-funded for.
