Who you are
- Knowledge and practical experience setting up test automation frameworks for web applications
- Experience with Cypress with Typescript
- Experience with BDD (Behaviour Driven Testing)
- Experience using Git for version control, merging, pull requests
- Experience with continuous integration environments such as TeamCity
- 4+ years of Test automation experience, at least 2 years with Cypress or Playwright
- Report generation + experience with github actions is a plus
- Performance testing knowledge a plus
- Note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, including verification of employment, education, and criminal records
What the job involves
- This Test Automation Engineer is responsible for the creation and execution of automated test cases to ensure that all our releases are all of the highest quality. They will work closely with our QA function to coordinate planning test automation, writing automated test code, maintaining tests, reviewing test results, and reproduce and report genuine bugs
- Own and maintain the coverage of the automation test suite by (but not limited to) the following:
- Keep them up-to-date with new functional changes
- Implement new automated tests and write the code to run them
- Improve the current test cases
- Monitor and review nightly automated test failures
- Work closely with in-house QA team on automation planning
- Reproduce bugs and issues
- Please be advised that this is a 6-month contractor position with Goodnotes, with the potential for renewal
