Role
Who you are
- BS Degree preferred
- Proven experience as a sales representative or account manager
- Sales competencies with large volume, multi-location account base
- Familiarity with CRM practices
- Excellent selling/negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and customer base
- Proven ability to drive sales processes from plan to close
- Strong business sense and industry expertise in Industrial Packaging, strongly preferred
- Ability to travel throughout the Greater Chicago area and surrounding region
What the job involves
- The Outside Sales Rep will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a profitable customer base of accounts within the Industrial Packaging Vertical for the Central Region of the United States
- Selected candidate will be a hunter of strategic multi-location large volume accounts and develop relationships with customers and supplier partners to enable value added selling and best business practices that promotes our National and Strategic account philosophies
- Collaborating with senior executives developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls
- Ensure and maintain profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution, and management of a strategic accounts
- Implement BradyPLUS’s strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong national presence
- Work with customer base to expand our drive for packaging automation and innovation with our equipment offering
- Managing a sales territory to maximize sales and profit revenues that meet or exceed corporate set goals
- The ongoing training of your skill set to ensure best in class product and market knowledge
- Promoting the organization directives
- Understanding needs of customer base and how they relate to the organization directives
- Developing specific plans to ensure growth both long and short-term
- Educating customers on the BradyPLUS Valued added account strategy process with presentations of strategies, case studies and successful trends
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
- Attend sales training, sales seminars, and other meetings as needed
