Role
Who you are
- 3+ years experience in IT administration or a similar technical role
- Strong understanding of macOS and ChromeOS administration, networking, and security concepts
- Hands-on experience with Jamf and Apple Business Manager (or strong interest in mastering these tools)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and MDM (Mobile Device Management) systems
- Knowledge of data security frameworks and ISO certification (e.g., ISO 27001)
- Proven record of inventory management and IT asset tracking
- Excellent communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English
- Reliable, organized, proactive and service-oriented mindset
What the job involves
- We’re now looking for a hands-on IT Administrator who will ensure smooth daily IT operations and take ownership of data security, compliance, and inventory management across our growing organization.ital learning journey that makes personal growth transparent, measurable, and enjoyable.
- You’ll take charge of maintaining and securing Sharpist’s IT environment while supporting our hybrid team both onsite and remotely
- This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), spread across five working days, with three regular onsite days in our Berlin office and on-demand presence for special requirements or projects
- Manage and maintain onsite IT infrastructure (hardware, software, network devices, and audio/visual systems)
- Provide technical support to employees (macOS, ChromeOS, mobile devices, hybrid meeting setups)
- Handle inventory and asset management — laptops, peripherals, accessories, and software licenses
- Work closely with external partners to support data security and compliance topics during ISO27001 and TISAX audits
- Create and enforce IT and security policies
- Manage relationships with vendors and external service providers
- Ensure smooth IT onboarding/offboarding and user access management
- Monitor system performance, conduct regular backups, and stay ahead of potential issues
- Support sales team on security questionnaire for potential customers

Enterprises who purchase the service from Sharpist are attracted by the startup’s attention to customer experience, with a learner engagement of more than 90%.
The digital coaching provider counts some of Germany’s biggest businesses as its clients (BASF, Allianz, Porsche). It is now using its 2022 funding to expand its services to new markets, including the UK and Ireland.
While the organisation has had great success in its home markets, it will be interesting to see whether it can replicate its impressive growth amongst employers with noticeably different workplace cultures and L&D practices.
