Senior Accountant, trawa

• 4+ years accounting experience (start-up/scale-up, Big Four audit, or tax advisory preferred)
• DATEV expert (REWE & DUO); modern ERP experience is a plus
• Strong HGB knowledge and fundamental German tax regulations
• Tech-forward mindset: Excel power user with curiosity for automation and AI tools (ChatGPT, Langdock, n8n, Zapier)
• Business partner mindset: You make accounting complexity simple for non-finance stakeholders
• Business fluent in English; German B1+ or willingness to reach it quickly (we provide language training support)

• As (Senior) Accountant, you'll own day-to-day accounting operations while playing a key role in transitioning our accounting in-house and building audit-ready infrastructure

• Support audit-ready monthly and annual financial close — ensure accuracy and compliance
• Serve as key contact for auditors, external bookkeeping, and tax advisors
• Navigate complex energy market transactions and support clean audits
• Drive the transition of accounting from external to in-house operations and build scalable processes
• Automate and digitalize finance workflows (Moss, DATEV UO, Airtable, ERP)
• Partner with RevOps, Sales, and Tech teams to ensure data integrity
