Who you are
- BA or BS/MA or MS in Computer/Security field or related field experience
- Technical Knowledge: 1-3 years experience in a technical, yet client-facing role
- Industry Knowledge: 1-3 years experience working in a team-selling environment. A deep understanding of MSP's needs is strongly desired
- Hands on working knowledge of various operating system flavors including, but not limited to: Windows, Linux, Unix
- Hands on experience with tools such as: Top class SIEM tools, EDR, anti-virus, XDR, ticketing systems, advanced cyber tools sets, log analysis, WireShark, vulnerability scanning, etc
- Knowledge of Azure/AWS, M365, VDI, and Firewalls
- Solid understanding of Security Operations Center processes
- Knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat vectors, risk management
- Independent Worker: Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent and fast-paced team environment
- Technical Acumen: Highly proficient at discussing the technical aspects of security products in an easily understood way that connects with the overall value proposition
- Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor and superior interpersonal skills
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
- Ability to travel to tradeshows and company sponsored events required
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+,CompTIA CySA+, etc.) will be an advantage
What the job involves
- You will be the expert for our Barracuda XDR (Extended Detection and Response) solution which includes Network Security, Email Security, Endpoint Security, etc
- You will work with the XDR Sales team to effectively join sales calls with new and/or existing partners, addressing technical questions, researching and solving issues, and providing overall technical expertise to assist in closing business
- Support sales team throughout the sales process by providing technical expertise
- Create high-quality, feasible proof of concepts for potential clients
- Conduct demos for strategic prospects and current accounts
- Increase response to RFPs or RFIs
- Increase win rates
- Meet revenue goals
- Improve technical acumen of sales teams
- Serve as a technical liaison between sales and customers; Ensure effective and efficient cross-team collaboration
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, etc
- Identify current and future customer service requirements by building personal rapport with potential and existing customers
- Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating value propositions
- Solution Scoping: Discussing configuration, equipment, and system requirements with customers and engineers need to effectively deploy the XDR solution

It offers a number of packages, focusing on email security, app and cloud protection, network security and data protection. By investing heavily in R&D and product development, Barracuda is able to keep on top of new (and increasingly prevalent) email phishing scams. Its incorporated XDR capabilities also close security gaps generated by the rise in hybrid and remote working.
Barracuda is an established player within the cyber security market, boasting over 200,000 enterprise customers including the likes of Shiseido, Carrefour and Accor. It was acquired in 2022 by KKR, a global investment firm, which has allowed it to further improve its product, grow its team and expand its marketing reach.
