Role
Who you are
- You’ve designed consumer mobile apps in mission-driven teams and know how to bring ideas to life. You enjoy distilling complex problems into elegant experiences, and collaborating closely with engineers to find pragmatic solutions.
- You care deeply about building beautiful, powerful and accessible products. You’re motivated to use your skills to help the more than 250,000 people using Visible to manage complex chronic illnesses.
- You bring strong visual design skills and have a portfolio that shows clarity, balance and craft. You think carefully about layout, typography and motion to create experiences that feel cohesive and intuitive.
- You have experiencing directly managing one or more designers, and are excited to build a team while staying hands on. You are a low-ego and emotionally intelligent leader who can coach, mentor and manage a small team to high performance, leading in part by the example you set.
- You’re comfortable with the pace and pragmatism of small teams taking smart bets and learning as they go, and you use storytelling with insights and prototypes to bring the team along with you. You believe in strong opinions loosely held, always in service of our members and our business.
- You’re energised by all things design, from perfecting pixels and overhauling a design system to running ideation workshops and taking inspiration from great products
- You have a bias for action, identifying opportunities for product and process improvements. You don’t wait for direction. You make things happen.

What the job involves
- You’ll report to Luke, our CEO and a former product manager, and work alongside our Product, Tech and Data Science Leads to shape the future of Visible’s product. You will manage and partner with our Senior Product Designer. The team also includes 3 engineers, a QA and a second data scientist, with plans for extra hires in 2026.
- Over the next 6 months, the team is focusing on enhancing the core pacing experience, rolling out sleep tracking and helping members make sense of their data through trends visualisations and AI insights. You’ll help to shape the roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
- You’ll be an important player in driving work from discovery to delivery. You'll use research insights, quantitative data and team feedback to iterate and prototype at speed. We use Figma ❤️, Whimsical, Slack, Linear and Notion.
- You’ll manage a Senior Product Designer and work with other leads to shape the wider product team ways of working and nurture a high-performance culture.
- You’ll regularly run research to learn what our members need. You'll use these insights to define problems, shape hypotheses and explore what’s possible, drawing on your knowledge of best practices, trends and app capabilities.
- You’ll be a strong brand guardian with influence beyond the app. You’ll do a bit of everything, from directing packaging design to working with Marketing on ads, social media posts and the website.

Many patients are turning to fitness trackers to understand their health. But these devices are designed for athletes and exercise, not patients and chronic illness. Visible is redefining wearable technology to serve those who need it most: patients.
Its technology uses biometric data to better understand complex chronic conditions, empowering patients to manage their health, enabling clinicians to provide better care, and helping researchers gain deeper insights.

Harry Leeming
(Co-Founder)Harry graduated with a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath. He worked in Formula 1 as an engineer before moving out to San Francisco to work on consumer electronic products at Alta Motors and Boosted Boards. Then Harry joined Moneybox as a PM working alongside Luke.
Luke Martin-Fuller
(Co-Founder)Luke studied Law at the University of Cambridge and went on to practice as a corporate lawyer at Linklaters in London and Frankfurt. After pivoting to tech, Luke spent 2 years as a PM building LegalTech software products for 8 of the world’s 10 largest banks, creation to adoption in 18 months. Soon after Luke joined the Moneybox Product team where he worked with Harry.
