Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will have experience with consultative sales processes, selling SaaS (preferably productivity solutions), and working with mid-sized companies across various industries
- Intelligent: You're a solution seller who uses EQ, IQ, and curiosity to provide a truly consultative sale
- Character: A persuasive self-starter with high integrity and an infectiously positive attitude. We are not interested in aggressive sales tactics
- Coachability: A good listener with a low ego and a high degree of personal accountability
- Experience: Proven track record of exceeding quotas in SaaS sales
- 5+ years of SaaS enterprise sales experience, ideally in a productivity or project management tool
- Demonstrable sales experience converting net new prospects and growing and retaining existing customers at a mid-market level
- Experienced in SaaS sales cycles
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in both German and English
- Process-driven with diligent attention to detail
- Experience with completing and leading Requests for Information or Requests for Quotes
Desirable
- MEDDICC or MEDDPICC training is highly desirable
- Experience selling project management software or other productivity tools
- Experience with Slack, Front, Salesforce, and Outreach
- Some exposure to responding to Customer Service and Technical Support questions
What the job involves
- We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive with a proven track record of exceeding quotas through net new account acquisition and account management, including expansion and renewals
- This hybrid role involves both new business development and managing existing accounts to drive growth and retention
- Work all new business leads for Enterprise (2,000+ employees) accounts, focused in the DACH region
- Achieve and consistently exceed pipeline and sales targets by converting free trials, marketing-qualified leads, or demo requests into paid customers
- Manage existing accounts to drive expansion and renewals
- Master the product and be able to field customer service and product questions from your leads
- Perform customer presentations and demos via online web conferencing tools in partnership with sales engineers
- Work with the Growth and Marketing teams to optimize lead generation and sales conversion tools
- Identify customer segments and new opportunities to improve the quality of the sales pipeline

In contrast to most of the austere, pared-back tools you might find in the workplace, it takes a playful approach, with its programs looking more like fun consumer-focused apps while still being fully-featured.
The company isn't alone in the workplace productivity market, counting Asana, Jira, Slack, and Monday among just a few of its competitors. However its advantage comes from its unified platform which encourages users to stay in ClickUp's ecosystem rather than look outside for other tools. Indeed, the vast majority of its users utilise three or more of its products. This has led to strong success in its market, with over 800,000 teams using the platform in enterprises such as IBM, logitech and Spotify.
ClickUp has been the beneficiary of a significant amount of investment, which it has used to develop its product and expand internationally. As it grows its footprint in Asia and Europe, where nearly half of its customers are based, it has also unveiled a new version of its platform which integrates AI writing and advanced search tools. The company is well poised to deliver on its vision of becoming the one app to replace them all.
