Role
Who you are
- 6-10+ years of experience in a customer facing role, within pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting
- Experience working with Enterprise customers, with a proven track record of influencing and helping close 6-figure deals in partnership with sales teams
- Experience supporting complex Enterprise SaaS sales cycles with multiple stakeholders, technical personas, and long evaluation processes
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts, APIs, and integrations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to demonstrate technical solutions in a compelling and customer-centric manner
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused mindset, with the ability to identify pain points and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Proven experience working cross-functionally, translating customer needs into actionable insights for stakeholders
- Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus, but not required
- Role requires proficiency with macOS and comfort working fully remotely using tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, and Zoom
What the job involves
- As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Fingerprint, you will play a critical role in driving the technical sales process and ensuring the company achieves its growth targets
- Your expertise will support customers and sales executives, positioning Fingerprint as a trusted advisor throughout the sales journey. By presenting and explaining Fingerprint features to prospective customers through demos, you will effectively showcase the value proposition of our solutions
- Partner closely with Sales Executives to drive complex, technical sales cycles from discovery through evaluation and close
- Lead technical discovery to understand customer architecture, business challenges, and success criteria
- Develop compelling demos, presentations, and technical narratives tailored to both technical and executive audiences
- Translate customer pain points into scalable Fingerprint solutions that demonstrate clear technical and business value
- Design and execute proof-of-value (POV) engagements that demonstrate measurable business impact and technical differentiation
- Lead Proof-of-Concept (POC) integrations with customers' tech stacks to showcase the value and efficacy of our solutions
- Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Act as a liaison between the sales and marketing teams, providing insights for effective collaboration and growth
- Support conference participation, customer workshops, and technical thought leadership initiatives as needed
Our take
Digital fingerprinting is an essential process in web browsers that tracks the digital address of a device to monitor web activity. This technique facilitates the identification of fraud and spam, as well as warning signs of account takeovers. However, the success of this requires users to accept cookies, a requirement that is easy to avoid.
Fingerprint provides a digital fingerprinting tool that generates a unique identifier of browser activity without requiring the user to accept cookies. The service uses the same WebGL and canvas fingerprinting utilized by existing competitors, but instead of focusing on devices, it identifies web activity. Suspicious activity will result in the identified user being logged in a database, allowing the service to be improved for others.
With this innovative approach, Fingerprint has been able to build up an impressive client roster of over 6,000 companies, including 16% of the top 500 websites by traffic. As well as displaying sustained growth through funding rounds, the company has also continued to improve upon its offering.
