Role
Who you are
- Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in PHP and related frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Knowledge or some experience in NodeJS and Typescript would be beneficial
- Experience with ElasticSearch would be beneficial
- Good understanding of database systems, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development workflows
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for learning and staying up to date with industry trends and technologies
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a plus
What the job involves
- As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the services in our backend systems
- You will work in a cross-functional team (React, PHP, Node, Python developers) to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Develop and maintain backend services using PHP and related frameworks
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability of backend systems
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal functionality
- Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Keep up to date with industry trends and technologies in PHP development
