Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in software development
- Strong desire to grow professionally and technically in the MLOps space
- Excellent communication skills across internal teams and external customers
- Experience with container-based technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of DevOps best practices and cloud-based infrastructure
- Ability to code examples of end-to-end machine learning workflows in Python
- Basic understanding of networking and security for microservices-based applications
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across multiple customers and projects
- Curiosity paired with logical problem solving to find the root cause of issues and propose technical solutions
What the job involves
- You will be joining our Customer Success team in a role which offers autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to make an impact from day one with unique opportunities to grow and develop your career as we continue to shape the future of machine learning
- This is a customer-centric hybrid role between support engineering and solutions engineering
- You will develop a deep understanding of the Seldon ecosystem in order to enable our customers to implement an MLOps platform and deploy machine learning models
- In doing so, you will encounter a wide variety of real-world machine learning use cases in a production setting and advise on how to overcome technical constraints
- Provide customers with technical solutions to drive the adoption of Seldon
- Monitor the support queue, troubleshooting tickets and responding to technical queries
- Escalate urgent or challenging issues internally and liaise with the engineering team
- Guide customers through implementation and configuration of the Seldon platform
- Develop a cookbook of standard technical enablement sessions to present to customers
- Build and deliver tailored enablement materials given technical requirements
- Collect customer feedback and present insights and features requests back to the product team
- Identify opportunities for self-service and contribute end-to-end examples to the Seldon documentation
- Support the technical delivery of professional services, should projects arise

Seldon is now building a dedicated team from scratch in the US and focusing on hiring across its sales teams to obtain more customers and grow its revenue. It is banking on the importance of machine learning for the future of real-world business, and with a key objective being to ‘democratise’ access to AI’s benefits beyond big tech companies, Seldon's potential is huge.
