Role
Who you are
- 5-7 years sales experience in financial services, institutional/buy-side roles
- Consistent overachievement of sales targets
- Solid understanding of financial markets, asset management industry and investment ecosystem
- Extensive senior sales and relationship management background with CIO, heads of product, portfolio management, and sales/marketing of asset management organizations
- Willing to travel up to 30% of the time
- Employ a data driven approach to prospecting and strategy formation
- Able to simplify deal structures while overcoming client objections
What the job involves
- In this role, you will maintain and grow revenue within the FTSE Russell Index business on an existing book of business consisting of U.S. Asset Managers
- The candidate will use insight and understanding of client needs to support account growth
- The team is looking to add a team member that can maintain and accelerate our historical double digit growth!
- Management and growth (account management and prospecting) of the regional territory with targets exceeding $2MM/annum for equity indices
- Close major deals consistently on a monthly and quarterly basis while creating and driving business in line with our strategic priorities
- Daily management of sales, activity, and pipeline within salesforce.com
- Collaborate with internal leaders and cross divisional colleagues across product and account management to drive client outcomes
- Great teammate that knows how to balance firm interests and be an extraordinary steward of the firm

It operates as a part of LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), one of the world’s leading providers of financial markets infrastructure, as a marketplace to enable stock brokers and traders to buy and sell stocks, bonds, and other securities.
The London Stock Exchange has lived through a stream of innovations; from telegraph and telephone, to the Market Price Display System, automatic trade matching, and the digitisation of issuer services. In 2019 it acquired Refinitiv, a financial information company, and in doing so became a global financial news and data business.
Most recently, the London Stock Exchange has made moves to support the evolution of private markets, and further build its presence in this space. It partnered with Floww, a platform that connects investors with private companies, with aims to launch a private primary capital raising facility, as well as explore new technologies and secondary market options for the platform.
