Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in English, journalism, communications, marketing, human-centered interaction or a related field and 3-5 years of professional experience in content-focused roles, with experience in in-product UX content
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating human-centered design thinking and solutions
  • Experience contributing to the design process from concept to launch
  • Experience developing a product content strategy for web and mobile, focusing on accessibility and inclusivity
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

What the job involves

  • You will work on key end-to-end projects that enhance the buying and selling experience on eBay. Collaborating within a product team, you’ll craft clear, consumer-facing content that directly impacts business outcomes and support your solution with a thoughtful, well-rounded POV
  • As a full-stack content designer, you know writing is designing. You see language as a design material and as an integral part of the UX Design process
  • You understand how to evaluate the quality of content design and how to improve it
  • You enjoy working collaboratively with cross-discipline partners to ensure the work meets all product requirements, iterate through all stages of fidelity and work towards outcomes
  • Build effective content solutions that meet team standards and project goals
  • Deliver high-quality, error-free content that aligns with UX standard processes efficiently and with agility
  • Develop a thoughtful point of view and clearly explain your rationale
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer support teams to ensure consistency in the product narrative
  • Ensure content is accessible and inclusive, working with the Localization team to adapt content for global markets
  • Connect with colleagues to share work and ideas, supporting others with a positive and kind demeanour
