Role
Who you are
- This role requires full stack development and 3D visualization and design skills, but you will also need familiarity with data visualization and build tools
- You have a BS or MS in computer science or related field or have equivalent industry experience
- You have 8+ years of full-time work experience implementing front-end and back-end for web applications
- You have proven experience in architecting efficient and reusable front-end systems and guiding projects from concept to delivery
- You have strong proficiency with HTML, CSS, React, Typescript, and Javascript
- You have strong proficiency with one of C++, Python, and/or Java
- You have experience with 3D visualization using WebGL and related technologies
- You have experience with data visualization using Foxglove or related technologies
- You are familiar with UX/UI design principles and tools like Figma
- You understand responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
- Familiarity with language-agnostic build systems like Baze
- You have exposure to standard agile and software development processes, including issue tracking tools (Jira), feature branching, version control (Git), continuous integration and deployment
- You are able to work independently and as part of a team with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- You are able to communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing with other team members
- Experience working in the robotics industry
- Authorization to work in the USA
Desirable
- You have a good sense for designing attractive interfaces by choosing appropriate colors, fonts, layout, and other visual features
- Expertise in developing on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- You have experience implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in React using Auth0
What the job involves
- Our software team is growing rapidly and we are looking for talented engineers to join our small, agile, world-class team
- In this role you will be developing attractive and intuitive browser-based interfaces for controlling and managing our state-of-the-art humanoid robots
- Lead the design, development and deployment of full stack applications
- Design and implement web-based interfaces to interact with humanoid robot
- Design and implement 3D visualization tool using Foxglove or equivalent and integrate them into web applications
- Design and implement responsive UI
- Implement and optimize back-end services
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to members of the team
- Work with the rest of the front-end team to write well-tested, maintainable and documented software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable and maintainable applications
- Participate in code reviews

Agility Robotics was founded with the aim of empowering the blended workforce, where humans and human-movement-enabled robots work side by side. Digit's tasks, including package handling, and future plans for self-replication, position the company to address labor shortages. As it enhanced Digit's AI and safety features, Agility is preparing for a future where robots and humans work together, shaping the digital workforce.
