- 6 Months - 2 Years of Hands-on software engineering experience through previous roles

- The Core Financial Products Engineering team’s mission is to build secure, scalable systems that power Robinhood’s key financial offerings and help democratize finance for all. We focus on reliability, correctness, and innovation while working closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver value to our users
- As a Software Engineer, you’ll help design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure and services critical to our financial products. You’ll gain deep insight into how the U.S. financial system works, strengthen your domain knowledge, and make a tangible impact on millions of users. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to highly visible features and evolve our platform in meaningful ways!
- Design, build, test, and release backend systems with high correctness, reliability, and scalability requirements
- Own and maintain key services that power our financial product ecosystem
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering and business challenges
- Interface with external financial institutions to integrate services and expand capabilities
- Contribute to shaping engineering best practices and improving developer workflows
