Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in technical documentation for APIs and integration
- Education or relevant experience in computer science, technical writing, or core sciences
- Experience with programming to enable sample code, especially around core web technologies such as Python and Javascript - Must have
- Knowledge of Payment/Fraud domain - Nice to have
- Experience using Git to manage asynchronous collaboration across large teams
- Experience with authoring documentation in Markdown is a core
- Familiarity with API documentation tools such as OpenAPI/Swagger
- Ability to organize and create multimedia content to explain use cases and process flows
What the job involves
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, guides, API documentation, and knowledge base articles
- Review and refine API documentation from developers and PMs for external audiences, ensuring clarity and accuracy
- Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code to reduce the ground-up efforts of external developers
- Develop and integrate diverse content types (e.g., workflows, process schematics, instructional videos, developer consoles) to simplify users' understanding of Open APIs
- Collaborate with developers to keep documentation sites up to date and ensure content is technically accurate, clear, and accessible, even for complex topics
- Use your extensive knowledge of the needs of developers and pass this feedback internally to develop the next set of Open APIs
- Maintain and update release notes in collaboration with PMs and developers

Sardine's technology traces intrinsic behaviour patterns to identify so-called "bad actors" online, and detects fraudsters using machine-learned fraud scores and user behavior biometrics.
The company calls itself the world's first FaaS (Fraud Detection as a Service), and its solutions are already drawing business from next-gen crypto and financial service institutions. Onboarding these institutions and scaling its customer base at pace will ensure that Sardine maintains its frontrunner position.
