Role
Who you are
- You possess at least 3+ years of experience in sales
- You're ambitious, a team player, hungry to learn, and excited to help build the future of physical retail
- Proficient in using a CRM system
- Excellent phone manner - you’re calm and confident at fielding both inbound client enquiries and carrying out cold outreach to new prospects, and you’re just as good listening as you are at talking
- Proactive, highly organised, and can-do attitude – enjoy being respectfully challenged
- Motivated self-starter with the ability and confidence to introduce new initiatives
- Ability to understand and adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- A genuine ‘half glass full’ team player with excellent stakeholder management skills
What the job involves
- Sook is seeking a talented Senior Business Development Executive to bring new brand partners into our spaces
- Working within the sales team and reporting to the Direct Team’s Business Director, you will optimise the sales journey from lead generation to deals closed, and be responsible for closing new business with partner occupiers, who will predominantly be early to mid-stage brands across a variety of exciting product sectors who are keen to make a splash on the High Street
- Work your prospect base, build your pipeline, and close business
- Manage inbound and outbound prospects
- Educate the market, generate awareness, challenge perceptions
- Be an enthusiastic advocate and trusted expert on Sook, turn your prospects into evangelising customers
- Manage your own sales pipeline, and the best-in-class CRM tools that we provide
- Report KPIs and exceed your targets

An archetype of the sharing economy, Sook’s digitally enhanced retail units are an attractive product for a new generation of business owners who can try out a high street location without a huge commitment to rent and rates.
In order to reach truly massive scale, Sook will need to focus on increasing the number of its locations and prove its value to the more established e-commerce brands.
