Who you are

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer-facing customer success, account management, or consulting organisation
A minimum of 1 year of experience managing and scaling a customer success team of at least two direct reports
Experience setting KPIs and forecasting using the right data
Experience building strong internal and external relationships; a people person
Experience solving analytical, technical problems using data-driven approaches
Experience solving unstructured problems by introducing sound, simple processes
Experience working in a SaaS business

What the job involves

Above everything else, turn our users into advocates. Build strong, human relationships with our customers. Deeply understand how to best add value. Deliver on our commitments without exception
Lay the foundations for customer operations at scale. Gain a deep understanding of our jobs to be done. Use a combination of existing best-practices and bespoke solutions to build the processes that will allow our team to do them with excellence, over and over again
Lead our Customer Success function. Be the driving and nurturing force in developing the team that will support our quickly growing customer base
Write our commercial playbook. Work with our growth and product teams to distill all of your qualitative and quantitative insights from the front lines to define the playbook we will use to succeed at scale
Be a driving force in defining the product. Be the eyes and ears of the product team. Co-create with the product team to ensure we are solving real, tangible customer pains

Application process

Stage 1 - Intro call: Approx. 30-minute. A chance to get to know each other, and chat through your experiences, motivations, and goals. Successful candidates will be asked to complete a short exercise, which you will present at stage 2
Stage 2 - Communication & Skills Assessment: In-person/video call. Approx. 1 hour. Candidates present results of the exercise to the Stotles team, with time for discussion and other questions. After this, 15-minutes of general conversation/Q&A about Stotles and getting to know the rest of the team
Stage 3 - Meet the team: In-person/video call. Approx. 30-45 minutes. A chance to get to know the team, make sure we're the right fit for you (and vice versa) and ask any outstanding questions about life at Stotles
From here we will make a final decision. We aim to offer successful candidates a role within 3 days subject to reference checks

Our take

Stotles is aiming to break down the barriers to government contracting, so more firms can compete for public sector contracts, not just those with the right contacts.

They do this by using lots of government data to identify business opportunities in the public sector, and match them with the companies on their platform. The platform, which gets its name from Aristotle, enables suppliers to follow indicators, track potential contract renewals, monitor buyers, and monitor competitors.

The founders have been at the intersection of public and private sectors, at firms such as the World Economic Forum, Boston Consulting Group, and Bloomberg. They have experienced the pain of bidding for public work beforehand, which gave them the idea.
