Who you are
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with expertise in HTML, React, JavaScript (or TypeScript), and backend development in an Agile environment
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 development, including WOPI, Office JavaScript API, Microsoft Graph API, and Marketplace Applications
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desirable
- Demonstrated experience building integrated applications and plugins for web experiences
- Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python) and event-based messaging (Kafka, MQ) for backend services
- Strong understanding of security in web applications and best practices
- Good debugging and problem-solving skills

- We are looking for a full-stack Software Development Engineer who is eager to innovate, experiment, and push the boundaries of integration workflows.
- In this role, you will develop applications that connect 3rd Party technologies with Workday's Contract Lifecycle Management platform.

- Design, build, and enhance integrated applications across multiple vendor ecosystems, with a focus on Microsoft Word Desktop integration, SharePoint Embedded, Office Add-ins, Task Pane, Chat, and Microsoft Graph-based integrations
- Extend backend services, databases, and RESTful APIs to support integration workflows
- Analyze and resolve customer-reported issues to enhance user experience, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate on application design, CI/CD pipelines, release processes, security reviews, and deployments
- Collaborate with Product Management, SRE, DevOps, UI/UX, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
