Who you are

Exceptional organizational skills, work ethic, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Strong written and verbal communication skills

2+ years experience in an event planning or coordination role
The ability to travel (estimated 20% or bi-monthly) to event locations, as needed
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, or related field is preferred
A creative thinker with a passion for a well-executed events strategy
A positive thinker and attitude paired with the desire to deliver exceptional client experiences

Maintaining detailed event-specific reporting, scheduling and documentation
Wearing multiple hats while effectively and seamless facilitating cross-functional collaboration with various teams and departments to ensure they’re driving business initiatives forward

What the job involves

Collaboration with internal teams on the creation and execution of event and sponsorship deliverables
Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations for staff members and VIP clients, as needed
Managing event-related inventory while meeting order and shipping deadlines
Start-up hustle & teamwork
Mondays & project management
Assist with researching and vetting venues, vendors, and service providers for various event opportunities
Interface regularly with events contacts at host organizations and with applicable vendors
Reports to: VP, Sales
