Role
Who you are
- You have 8+ years of commercial advertising experience at a brand, agency or sales role
- You have strong negotiation skills and can consultatively sell, present effectively, and the resilience to chase down and close business
- You can build a pipeline and proven track record of exceeding goals
- You have dexterity in creating reports and presentations using Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- You have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem
- You are a team player, smart, adapt well to change, and have a positive attitude
- You can work in a fast-paced, exciting environment and across external and internal teams
What the job involves
- Reporting to the VP sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across client direct & media agencies
- On a day-to-day basis, you’ll be taking a consultative approach to sales, building relationships with new and existing international agency partners predominantly in the UK and growing relationships with established clients alike
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients across UK & Europe, allowing us to gain a better understanding of their businesses and position Semasio as an invaluable partner in overcoming their strategic opportunities and challenges with data
- Evangelise all things data, and grow revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies and clients direct
- Focus on strategic and consultative selling, educating, and inspiring our clients to use data to enhance their client’s business objectives
- Maintain a high volume of in-person client engagement with brands and agencies
- Represent Semasio at events and serve as a brand ambassador, communicating our core narratives and reinforcing the strong position Semasio holds in the market
- Provide accurate forecasting, reporting and timely insights about your business and customers where required
- Identify, recommend, and implement internal strategic actions to improve efficiency

Our take
The web of regulations required for company compliance has become deep and complex as a result of the prevalence of online data. Software is available on the market to help increase workflows and reduce time spent working on company compliance, but no existing platform specializes in bringing all areas of compliance together for the booming U.S. cannabis industry.
Fyllo provides an all-in-one compliance suite that provides regulatory solutions for data handling, media, and retail. Whilst the company specializes in providing its software for the U.S. cannabis industry, the company aims to expand out for providing compliance services for other industries. All areas of a business can be viewed within the dashboard, with each element receiving a status based on automated compliance analysis.
Despite the range of compliance services available, Fyllo stands out with its focus on unifying every part of a business into a simple and automated regulatory dashboard. Furthermore, new laws in the U.S. regarding cannabis legality presents the startup’s specialism in the compliance-heavy industry as a very wise move.
Further, the company has expanded into the retail media network with the launch of Fyllo Connect. Initially working with cannabis advertisers by providing in-store media display screens, the company has certainly set itself up for continued growth in this new space.
