What the job involves

We are looking for a Head of Defined Contribution (DC) Partnerships to build our relationships with key retirement industry leaders to extend and strengthen Pontera’s network in the space
The Head of DC Partnerships will continue to develop and iterate our go-to-market strategy in the defined contributions space
Manage Pontera’s existing pipeline with Defined Contribution Plan Recordkeepers, Plan Sponsors, Retirement Plan Advisors, and other key DC industry stakeholders
Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities and build a prioritized roadmap for the future of Pontera’s DC partnerships
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with key executives and stakeholders at current and potential partners
Manage DC partnerships from strategy to execution including: scoping partnerships, selecting partners, negotiating and executing contract agreements, leading implementation, and launch
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to develop and execute on partnership strategy

Pontera, formerly known as FeeX, is a platform that bridges the gap between individuals and pension advisers, helping financial advisors find hidden fees and better manage their client's pension schemes.

Pontera is taken from the Latin for “bridge”, and the company’s mission of increasing transparency within the financial world was once focused solely on account holders and legal fees. It then concentrated on supplying an Order Management System for financial advisors - a smart move that piqued the interest of leading investors.

With strong backing, the company continues supporting people to have more control over their retirement savings. Interestingly, it has butted heads with 401(k) giant Fidelity Investments over whether third-party financial advisors should be allowed to use Pontera to view and manage clients’ retirement assets or not.
