Role
Who you are
- BA/BS Degree (or equivalent work experience) in business management, administration, sales management, economics, or any other relevant field
- 5+ years of experience selling and closing SaaS technology or other business applications to large enterprises
- Experience selling to C-level executives (Fortune 500 Companies) and have an understanding of the Sourcing, Procurement, and Supply Chain landscape and existing challenges and solutions
- Ability to define and execute the entire sales lifecycle, and preferably familiar with Command of the Message or other value selling methodologies
- Ability to prioritize and discover new opportunities within customer and new logo accounts
- Cares about diversity, equity and inclusion and is a conscious and inclusive leader comfortable talking about DEI topics
- Is comfortable and not easily overwhelmed in a fast-paced role and mission-driven environment
- Experience with large ticket sales in excess of 6 figures + per deal
- Experience leading potential customers to an understanding of the options or solutions that are applicable to their situation, demonstrating how features and benefits match their needs
What the job involves
- The Enterprise AE will lead all sales efforts, including prospect identification, lead generation, sales calls, handling the sales cycle, proposal, and contract negotiation through deal closure. This person will work collaboratively to meet sales goals and deliver the highest standard of integrity, quality, and customer service to our clients
- Manage the customer relationship for the full Stimulus team driving the overall account strategy and marshaling the sales and value-added team to grow our business with enterprise customers
- Establish, handle, and manage relationships between Stimulus and senior executives of the customer and prospect companies
- Generate new leads through networking and prospecting, including cold calling and events, as well as using marketing and PR activities of the company
- Target account selling (prospecting/lead generation, qualification, and scoping, closing strategies, negotiations, etc.) to meet or exceed quota expectations
- Interface and develop professional relationships with existing customers and prospects throughout the organizational levels
- Sales process management and participate in sales planning status meetings
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Stimulus' solution offerings and the competitive landscape
- You’ll build our relationships and community to a diverse set of industries, customers, and workforces
- Create and refine systems and processes to assist in optimizing processes for prospecting and solution development
- Manage and support the performance and development of your team members - help them grow into experts in the field
- Partner with Marketing on thought leadership opportunities and in field activities (e.g., blogs, events, conferences)
- Establish strong partnerships with CS, Product, and cross-functional teams to grow Stimulus
- Articulate and create Stimulus’ business value through engaging executive level presentations
