Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in product management and/or user experience design working with complex enterprise/B2B toolsets or internal products
- A background in product management with a firm grasp of leading by example a productive Product team
- Experience implementing a major redesign through use of design systems a significant plus
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with key product management leadership functions, including prioritization, planning, define shared goals and success metrics
- Experience in defining and developing products to meet stakeholder requirements. Examples will be required
- Experience working with geographically distributed multi-disciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel to remote office locations on a semi-regular basis to engage teams face-to-face
- Knowledge and experience in entertainment/music industry helpful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with interpersonal and influencing skills (at all levels internally, externally and cross-functionally)
- Ability to establish and develop relationships and partnerships with internal and external team members
- Detail oriented with strong time management and organizational skills

What the job involves
- The Director will be responsible for effective communication and cross-app planning of our TM1 unification. The role will also be responsible for defining and prioritizing a set of shared design system components utilized across Ticketmaster enterprise/B2B applications and workflows
- Lastly, the Director will be championing partnership and collaboration across the technical functions within the platform. You will set an example for speedy and effective alignment of goals and delivery
- Develop strategy and drive unification. Specifically, how implementation of design system can drive major design evolution
- Act as an internal evangelist for the holistic platform that champions self service and ease of use to drive adoption. Guide and educate product development teams on their part in this journey
- Collaborate with the TM1 product teams to ensure design and product architecture standards are aligned and implemented. Forester effective collaboration
- Conduct product discovery to identify key client needs and prioritize opportunities across global product set
- Gather requirements across multiple product development teams and stakeholders to determine overall priority for development
- Write and present top-notch product story and requirements documentation, driven by usability insights, with input from internal stakeholders and at times external clients
- Track product improvements and drive an effective strategy towards constant enhancement and optimization within the user experience
- Understand and discuss technical concepts, and propose new product ideas with non-technical and technical employees
- Responsible for developing relationships with key product partners and stakeholders
- Develop and lead a team of capable Product Management professionals, including appropriate skill-building, tooling, and coaching. Advocate for effective product discipline that meets Ticketmaster’s goals and needs
