Role
Who you are
- A professional qualification (or on your way to being fully qualified) in accounting or finance (ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc) - desirable, not essential
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting in a finance role
- Strong commercial acumen
- Deep understanding of treasury management
- Advanced proficiency with Excel/GSheets
- Excellent business partnering skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Hands on small team experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
What the job involves
- Reporting to our Director of Operations, you’ll have overall responsibility for the management accounting, financial analysis and modeling across our three entities in the UK, US and Germany
- Treasury management - optimising our cash and investment balances vs. our operational needs
- Management Accounts, i.e. monthly numbers, board reporting (including setting up new reporting on performance of investments)
- FP&A - owning and maintaining our existing financial models plus new modeling as required. You’ll ensure the integrity and accuracy of our data and provide recommendations to senior management based on your financial analysis
- Co-owning budgeting and forecasting alongside our Finance Controller. This will include our annual budgeting process, plus ongoing reporting
- Collaborating with others in the Finance Team and the wider business to aid process improvement
- Assisting with our annual audit as required

Founded in 2015, Founders Pledge's approach has already proven highly successful: over $10 billion has been pledged by just over 1,800 members. Furthermore, since the company's operations are funded by a separate group of founders, philanthropists, and institutions, it guarantees that 100% of donations goes straight towards causes that matter.
Going forwards, Founders Pledge's focus must be on maintaining the strength of its community. Ensuring entrepreneurs stay engaged with their social impact efforts will be paramount to the continued achievement of Founders Pledge's goals, but if it can do this, there is no reason why the company should not be able to continue its altruistic mission well into the future.
