Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing, ideally in B2C fintech, SaaS, or marketplaces (crypto a plus)
- Proven ability to run and optimize multi-channel paid campaigns with measurable ROI
- Hands-on experience with tracking/attribution tools (pixels, SDKs, CAPI, Segment, Roadway, Looker)
- Affiliate program management and channel optimization experience
- Familiarity with SEO and lifecycle marketing best practices
- Strong analytical and testing mindset; comfortable building dashboards and frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity — strategic thinker and scrappy executor
- Curiosity about crypto and fintech trends, with the ability to translate insights into growth strategies
What the job involves
- Join CoinTracker as our first Growth Marketing Lead, owning the channels, analytics, and experimentation that fuel our next stage of growth. You’ll build and optimize a high-velocity growth engine across paid media, affiliates, SEO, and lifecycle — driving measurable acquisition, retention, and revenue impact
- This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role at the intersection of product, marketing, and data. You’ll partner with design, product, vendors, and leadership to bring discipline and velocity to growth marketing — perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys testing and learning, and wants to scale a consumer + enterprise crypto business
- 1-year outcomes:
- Scalable, efficient performance marketing program delivering net-new users and enterprise leads at or below target CAC
- Affiliate program structured with tracking, incentives, and partner content reuse, driving meaningful incremental customers
- SEO and organic experiments measurably increase traffic to priority surfaces
- Attribution framework (via Roadway, Segment, Metabase, etc.) implemented and trusted by stakeholders
- Growth experimentation roadmap validated with at least one new high-ROI channel (e.g., referral, co-marketing, gamification)
- Clear reporting and dashboards (Looker, Notion, Slack updates) enabling ROI visibility and resourcing decisions
- Own paid acquisition campaigns (Meta, Google, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn) — from strategy to creative testing and optimization
- Manage and scale CoinTracker’s affiliate program, with structured tracking, incentives, and ROI analysis
- Partner on SEO improvements and lightweight content/organic experiments
- Implement and maintain attribution frameworks (pixels, CAPI, Roadway, Segment, SDKs) to measure impact with confidence
- Build a campaign and experimentation calendar — ensuring high test velocity and tight learning loops
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, social, finance, and vendors to execute campaigns on time and with impact
- Provide clear reporting on channel performance, ROI, and recommendations for budget allocation
- Explore referral, gamification, and viral growth loops to unlock new sources of acquisition and engagement
Our take
Managing taxes for crypto investments can be a difficult task, and with tax regulations and trading practices developing fast in this market, a tool to help manage them is vital. CoinTracker’s crypto management software provides just this; tracking and synching up to 200 transactions across different wallets to a single dashboard, and automatically populating tax forms.
Though there are rivals in the space (such as Coinpanda and Koinly), CoinTracker stands out for the sheer volume of transactions it can track, as well as its prioritization of ease-of-use. Through this approach, it makes the whole process far more compliant and hassle-free for crypto traders, especially serving those who are less educated regarding the space.
By balancing tax management tools with its relatively generous free plan, CoinTracker has straddled itself neatly across low-volume retail investors and those dipping their toes in a little deeper. With fresh unicorn funding and regulatory pressure mounting around crypto tax reporting, the company is set to turn a historically painful obligation into a gateway for wider crypto adoption and help investors say compliant while better understanding the true performance of their portfolios.
