Role

Who you are

  • Experience of 2 to 4 years in full sales cycle
  • Expertise in negotiating and structuring deals that align with company objectives, while meeting both client needs and business goals
  • Proficient in using Salesforce to manage leads, track activities, and update records in compliance with company standards
  • Skilled in cultivating and maintaining a network of professional contacts to create new business opportunities, including attending industry events and staying active on platforms like LinkedIn
  • Ability to add value at every stage of a deal, optimising terms and outcomes for the company, with a strategic focus on long-term portfolio growth
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop lasting client relationships based on trust, satisfaction, and credibility, ensuring repeat business and referrals
  • Fluency in Dutch and English (mandatory)

What the job involves

  • The core responsibility of our Business Development Manager is to grow our direct network in the Netherlands by signing new locations with new and existing clients
  • Identify and engage with qualified leads, scheduling meetings with key decision-makers to initiate a collaboration
  • Manage the sales pipeline, track leads, and oversee the conversion process from initial contact to closing deals
  • Ownership of the full sales cycle, from sending proposals and negotiating commercial terms to finalising contracts
  • Build and maintain relationships with (potential) clients and industry stakeholders that can lead to new business, referrals, and collaborative opportunities
  • Develop and deliver persuasive sales presentations, effectively showcasing solutions and demonstrating their value in solving specific business challenges

Our take

As cities grow larger and more congested, there is a serious lack of parking locations. ParkBee aims to address this problem by developing smart car parking technology that optimizes the use of current resources in order to provide travellers with access to the best place to park.

The startup leverages its network of locations, smart integrations and predictive systems in order to utilize underused parking locations and to direct traffic to the right place at the right time. It is used by the UK’s most well-known public car park operators, hotels and private commercial office spaces. It also allows landlords and other private car park owners to monetize their spaces by making them available to the public.

ParkBee's business model involves splitting the revenue generated through renting each parking space with the owner, and the fee it charges consumers with partners RingGo or Parkmobile. It already operates hundreds of connected parking locations across a number of countries, expanding healthily over the years.
