Role
Who you are
- We are looking for self-motivated, flexible, team-oriented and creative sales team members, preferably with prior SDR and sales cycle experience in technology or cybersecurity that is looking to further build their career in Sales and leadership
- Fluent in English
- 5+ years of professional experience beyond college, preferably in Sales, business development, lead generation, outbound calling or equivalent
- Experience & enjoyment working in a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated and driven for outstanding results with focus on quality and the customer
- Devotion to Sales development, achievement and driving career forward rapidly
- Ability to be flexible and work in a rapidly changing, collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral, written and social media communication skills
- Excellent creative, multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills
- Solid technical background with apps like Excel, Google slides/powerpoint & business acumen
- Curious, positive and aggressive attitude
Desirable
- Knowledge of and/or experience with a CRM or content management tracking system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills working in a professional environment
- Strong collaboration and team building skills
- Ability to leverage social media and internet to qualify leads, drive opportunity and revenue
What the job involves
- The Enterprise Account Executive (EAE) position is the first interaction prospective customers have with Coalition
- The team we are building revolves around positive and hard-working individuals dedicated to outstanding achievement and the success of themselves, the Sales team, and the company
- Tenaciously prospecting, qualifying and capturing leads and opportunities through prospecting via phone, Internet and social media
- Creatively following up on inbound leads to further peak prospect interest
- Successfully creating opportunities within your assigned region
- Partnering with account executives in pursuit of driving revenue for the organization and promotion within the Sales organization
- Driving attendance to, following up on, and attending events and tradeshows in partnership with account executives
- Working with new clients to understand their needs and help find a solution for them
- Quota carrying position hybrid: New business meetings set, ARR booked, Renewals bookings
- Maintaining velocity to drive activity, prospective customer engagement and most importantly, revenue
- Building rapport and cultivating relationships with a variety of team members
- Building rapport with prospective customers, partners (internal and external) and moving the sales process forward
- Sharpening sales skills throughout the role to grow with the company and take over as a leader for the sales organization or grow into a more senior account executive role
Our take
The cybersecurity industry has been going through a record-breaking period of investment. This trend has emerged as more companies move to cloud-based networks following the increase of out-of-office work, thus increasing the risk of cyber attacks. However, many cutting-edge cyber defences are too expensive for many companies.
Coalition’s joint offering of cyber security tools, a risk management platform, and cyber insurance allows companies to manage the ever-present risk of cyber threats.
The company has made a strong start since its 2017 launch, raising nearly $800 million in funding. There are a number of other fast-growth startups in the cybersecurity space, including Wiz and Orca Security, but Coalition’s shrewd insurance-based model is what sets it apart from the competition. The company has set out on a path toward global expansion, branching out from the US and Canadian markets to bring its solutions to the UK, whilst also acquiring smaller competitors like JUMBO.
