Who you are

Professionally qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint familiarity is a plus
Ability to interpret financial data and apply IFRS or equivalent standards

What the job involves

Join our collaborative head-office finance team, where you’ll play a key role in delivering timely, accurate, and policy-compliant internal and external financial reporting
You’ll support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly results consolidation—focusing on functional costs—for RX executive leadership
You’ll also provide clear, actionable financial insights and analysis to stakeholders across RX and its parent company, including financial planning and analysis, group reporting, investor relations, real estate, and insurance teams
This role is a key point of contact for regular and ad-hoc financial data requests from teams such as finance, legal, human resources, and sustainability
Your responsibilities will include contributing to a strong control environment, supporting compliance with internal controls over financial reporting, and working with external auditors
Prepare and review group financial results, forecasts, and budgets for internal and external reporting
Ensure accuracy and reconciliation of financial data across systems (RX and RELX)
Deliver timely and reliable financial reports and insights to stakeholders
Maintain documentation to support compliance with internal controls (e.g., SOX)
Design tools and templates to support financial analysis and decision-making
Provide regular and ad-hoc performance analysis focused on key financial drivers
Maintain and improve financial system reports and master data accuracy
Collaborate with system support teams to ensure tools meet user needs
