Role
Who you are
- We’re looking for Product Managers who are hungry to make a real impact
- Strong data competency: experienced using data to inform decision-making, using tools like Amplitude to track insights and progress
- Strong UXR skills: passionate about understanding customer needs and creating experiences they love
- Strong product sense: an intuitive sense of what makes a great product and how to balance user experience with business goals
- Strong collaboration skills: experience successfully working with engineering, art and design teams to execute on product vision
- Comfortable in ambiguity: confident making quick decisions with limited information, building conviction and driving momentum in uncertain conditions
- Impact over process: driving real outcomes over adhering to rigid processes, always focused on delivering value to the end users
What the job involves
- You’ll report directly to the CEO and work in a super flat structure, giving you the opportunity to ship valuable features to our customers with speed
- Engage directly with our community - talk to users and champion their voice internally - making sure we’re solving real customer problems
- Align priorities with both user needs and business goals
- Define and communicate the “why” and the “what” in a way that inspires your teams
- Ship features that attract new users and keep them coming back
- Set and track progress against key metrics - balancing speed with accuracy in a fast-moving environment
- Work closely with engineering, art, design, QA and leadership teams to bring our product vision to life
- Run experiments and gain conviction on opportunities to add value to our customers
Application process
- Our interview process takes place on Google Hangouts and tends to consist of the following stages:
- Initial screen with the talent team
- Hiring Manager / technical interview
- Paid working day trial - join the team for a full day to fully immerse in the role and our environment!
- Some roles will have extra stages but we’ll let you know as early as possible if so
- We usually respond within three days
Our take
FitXR is rewriting the rules of fitness through immersive technologies. Using VR, it offers 5 studios, with hundreds of high energy classes on demand and choreographed by industry-leading fitness experts.
FitXR has successfully set itself apart in the space, becoming known for its engaging content and even referred to as the "most intense workout". This suggests they have bought users the same type of workout they would get in the gym, but in the Metaverse.
There has been a sharp rise in interest to use VR for fitness, and FitXR are well set to succeed in this growing market. To help attract new users (including those brand new to fitness), the company has partnered with the renowned Dr Brendon Stubbs, PhD - one of the world's leading exercise researchers.
