What the job involves

The Kube Team serves as the bedrock upon which our cost optimisation product suite rests
Customers initiate their experience with cost optimisation product through the infrastructure and solutions constructed by this team
Additionally, the CAST AI Optimisation Engine leverages these foundational elements to realise significant AAA savings for our clients
We've successfully engineered ways to integrate independent Kubernetes nodes into existing third-party clusters like EKS, GKE, and AKS
Given the absence of official documentation, this required a good deal of reverse engineering and yielded invaluable insights
We have authored our own Terraform provider
We developed a highly parallelised engine capable of managing and reconciling the diverse clusters of our numerous customers
We've implemented a unified API that abstracts away the differing implementations across various cloud providers
We're SME of lower level infrastructure (operating systems, cloud networking, storage and virtualisation) at CAST AI
The above examples merely scratch the surface of what we've achieved

Our take

Managing cloud deployments effectively to control costs has become a priority for organizations of all sizes. CAST AI drives cloud optimization and cost reduction by using AI and machine learning to analyze a company’s cloud environment to identify the resources required for maximum performance.

CAST AI’s platform supports all three major cloud service providers; Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services. When cloud providers have unused machines they are typically discounted by 60-70%, however, if AWS (for example) needs that machine back, they give little warning before reclaiming it. CAST AI is able to automatically detect this, and immediately replace it, meaning companies using its platform will never experience an outage of discounted machines.

As more enterprises embrace cloud technologies, CAST AI is a strong choice of provider as it provides customers with a unified, automated platform, making Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) more efficient and budget-friendly. The company has seen considerable investment that will be spent on attracting new customers, as well as helping to expand the CAST AI range of products.
