Who you are
- Experience: Proven experience as a Designer, preferably in a tech or legal tech environment, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential
- Content Creation: Ability to work as a content creation springboard, providing creative solutions and ideas for engaging marketing materials
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and design principles
- Collaboration Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Desirable
- Video Editing: Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects) is a plus, with the ability to create and edit video content
What the job involves
- As a Designer at Filvine, you'll be a crucial member of our internal creative team, overseeing design, marketing, and advertising initiatives that define our brand's visual identity
- Working closely with the Art Director under the Senior Manager of Brand & Creative, you'll help shape and enhance our brand standards, ensuring a consistent and engaging look and feel across all platforms
- Brand Development: Collaborate with the Art Director and Senior Manager of Brand & Creative to refine and uphold Filvine's brand standards, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, advertisements, and company communications
- Design Execution: Create visually compelling designs for digital and print media, including but not limited to social media graphics, website elements, email campaigns, events, and promotional materials
- Content Creation: Contribute to content creation by designing graphics and assets for video content
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and sales to produce design solutions that meet strategic goals and resonate with our target audience
- Feedback Integration: Implement stakeholder feedback and ensure design solutions align with the company's vision and objectives
- Innovation: Stay updated with design trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team continuously
- Bias For Action: At Filevine we move fast and are fearless in making mistakes. Being able to adapt and change is a vital part of this role
Our take
Law firms, corporate legal teams and government agencies are under increasing pressure to handle more work, more data and tighter timelines, all without increasing costs. As a result, demand is growing for legal technology that can automate routine tasks, organize complex information and also help laywers work faster and more accurately. AI has become a key part of this change, and today it's hard to find interest in legal tech that doesn't have AI at its core.
Filevine is a good example of how this shift is playing out, Founded in 2014, the company began as a software-as-a-service platform helping legal teams manage cases, documents, billing and payments in one place. Over time though, Filevine has expanded into what it now calls a Legal Operating Intelligence System, bringing intelligence into the full lifecycle of a legal matter. And in recent years, the focus has moved strongly toward AI, as most of the company's revenue comes from its AI products rather than from its original software.

By bringing together case management, depositions, contracts and drafting into a single system, Filevine has positioned itself as a central operating platform for modern legal teams.
