Who you are

  • 6+ years of B2B Marketing leadership experience across multiple countries in Northern Europe
  • Experience building and driving full funnel Demand Gen strategies for different segments
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing mix, and you understand how to use digital channels to optimise and scale programmatic campaigns
  • Managed all sorts of field events and you’ve experienced all the things that help make events a success (and the things to avoid in the future)
  • Understand how to work with, and influence partners. You have experience solving complex marketing problems, and collaborating with senior management to find success
  • A data-driven yet creative mind who likes bringing new ideas to existing projects and continuously pushes the team to try new things
  • Innovative problem solver - you foresee challenges, plan proactively, and discover inventive approaches to surpass team objectives
  • A love of bringing people together. You drive team collaboration, and also enjoy working with people outside of your team and outside of the company
  • People management experience – you understand how to motivate different types of people and help individuals reach their potential

What the job involves

  • As we continue to expand across Europe, we are looking for a Regional B2B Marketing generalist to run marketing efforts across the Northern Europe region and lead our strategic marketing initiatives focused on lead generation and revenue growth.
  • In this role, you will develop and implement comprehensive regional demand generation and field marketing strategies to effectively reach, engage and convert our local audiences, collaborating closely with our sales teams. You’ll be focussed on upleveling our brand awareness, driving demand for growth and helping delight and retain our B2B customers across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and SMB
  • You’ll be part of the International Marketing Team and partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Design and Developer Advocate teams to connect marketing initiatives and tactics to the wider vision and mission of the business
  • Build demand gen/field strategy: Implement marketing programs for UK and Northern Europe to enhance brand awareness and generate pipeline. Ensure successful implementation, standard methodology, and strong value
  • Partner with Sales: Collaborate with regional Sales partners (Sales leadership, Sales enablement and Sales Consulting teams) to deliver a sales-led marketing strategy (net new to existing customer expansion)
  • Global collaboration: Work closely with marketing team members in both International and Global teams, to deliver consistent and impactful marketing results through the funnel and across multiple channels and all business segments in local languages
  • Performance Tracking and Budget: Develop and implement frameworks and processes to ensure team success, including the tracking and measurement of all marketing programs and spend to budget
  • Regional Leadership: Be the face of Northern Europe marketing and an International Marketing brand ambassador

Our take

Figma is a web-based design platform that helps cross-functional teams of designers, project managers, and developers easily collaborate on product design projects. Its standout feature, Multiplayer mode, is like Google Docs for design, letting team members collaborate in real-time on project files that are hosted in the cloud.

Founded in 2012, Figma quickly established itself among its competitors in the sector and, in 2024, achieved a valuation of $12.5 billion after a large funding round backed by the likes of General Catalyst and Andreessen Horowitz. However, its recent focus on AI tools has had mixed results; Figma's Make Design tool, which generates apps using AI, was taken off the market soon after launch.

Nevertheless, thousands of industry-leading companies such as Airbnb, Dropbox, GitHub and Microsoft use Figma to scale their design efforts easily across distributed teams. A 2025 IPO is on the cards too, and Figma has the customer base and market trust to pull it off.
