What the job involves

As our Personal Assistant and Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping an environment where people feel valued, energised, and excited to come together and innovate
- Provide high-level support to our leadership team, enabling them to focus on driving the business forward
- Manage schedules, expenses, organise meetings, book travel and ensure every detail is thoughtfully planned
- Filter and prioritise requests for leadership time and attention, ensuring they focus on what matters most
- Handle sensitive communications with discretion, acting as a trusted gatekeeper and representative of the leadership team
- Be the first smile and warm welcome that sets the tone for everyone who walks through our doors
- Help create an office experience that inspires people to come together, collaborate, and celebrate shared successes
- Lead the charge in making the office a space that reflects our values and amplifies our culture
- Partner closely with HR to support on all things culture, onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring every touchpoint is seamless and welcoming
- Help new hires feel at home from day one, connecting them with our culture and people
- Act as a key resource for employees, assisting with queries, working closely with the Head of HR
- Keep our office running smoothly, managing supplies, facilities, and vendors
- Take charge of logistics for team events, celebrations (Christmas and Summer parties), and meetings—ensuring they run effortlessly, within budget and memorably
- Identify and implement ways to improve the office experience, from small touches to big ideas

Pollinate is a software business, focused on reinventing merchant acquiring for banks around the world - it was founded with a keen awareness that banks are under increasing attack from FinTech players, and must step up to compete.
The platform powers merchant and consumer digital experiences including onboarding, portals and loyalty programs, without costly and distracting platform migrations. This allows merchants to more effectively manage their businesses with digital tools and data integrations, grow their businesses by connecting with their consumers, and give back to their local communities. The company aims to connect banks and SMEs, offering merchants a chance to manage payments, understand what they mean, and grow their businesses with their own loyalty and offers scheme — all in one place, with fully integrated data flows.
The company is behind NatWest’s Tyl product, which allows merchants to start taking payments within a day of application. Such strategic enterprise partnerships are what Pollinate hopes to use as leverage. For instance, the company already boasts of Microsoft and Mastercard as partners. Pollinate seems to have a few good years ahead of it.
