Role
Who you are
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Economics, or related fields
- 2+ years of professional experience in data analytics space
- Experience being data-driven strategic partner, engaging with global partners, and ability to tie operational results to goals
- Experience in data visualization and building dashboards
- Fluency in SQL, data modeling, and other data science techniques
- Experience managing analytics projects from creation to delivery, including developing structured solutions and empowering colleagues
What the job involves
- As a Data Analyst focused on Operational Performance on the Customer Success team, you will report to the Sr Analytics Manager of Customer Success, and focus on AI assistants that empower our human operations
- You'll partner with product, program, and operational leaders to define measures of success, create data-driven insights, and prioritize product investments that drive adoption and effectiveness of the AI assistants
- Your work will span our global operations footprint, influencing the work of thousands of associates across multiple time zones
- Become an expert in our operational measurement
- Be a partner in evolving Remitly's global operational footprint
- Independently work with partners in Operations, Program, and product domains, providing analytical support and being a trusted partner
- Communicate metrics, commentary, and recommendations to multiple levels of stakeholders across our operational footprint
- Ensure that product metrics support operational and customer outcomes
Our take
Since its inception in 2011, Remitly has focussed on helping immigrants to send money across the world faster, cheaper and easier. The company has grown exponentially since then and now operates across multiple continents. Remitly put down most of its success on putting its customers first.
The emergence of digital banks with low transaction fees cross-country has increased competition in a space where Remitly was dominant for many years. The company must continue to innovate its product to ensure it is the go-to place for these types of payments.
That said, Remitly continues to partner with exciting companies and improve their service for loyal customers. The company is setting its sights beyond its core remittance service, such as through the introduction of Passbook, an app that allows customers to access digital banking through a partner bank.
