- Proven experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing roles, ideally in a SaaS or B2B environment
- Strong track record of developing and managing cross-channel customer engagement strategies

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a CRM Lead to own and scale customer lifecycle communications that drive adoption, engagement, and long-term value for GoCardless customers
- Reporting into the Director of Growth, you will lead a team of three and work closely with Marketing Operations and cross-functional stakeholders—including Product, Partnerships, and Sales—to craft impactful lifecycle strategies and campaigns
- You’ll shape the direction, execution, and measurement of lifecycle initiatives across multiple channels—email, in-app banners, chatbots, and more—while ensuring the team delivers campaigns that improve customer experience and accelerate revenue growth
- Set the strategic direction for lifecycle marketing, aligning campaigns with company growth objectives
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three, fostering a culture of impact, ownership, and learning
- Partner with Product, Partnerships, and Marketing Operations to extend the reach, relevance, and sophistication of lifecycle communications
- Oversee planning and prioritisation of lifecycle campaigns, ensuring timely delivery across key touchpoints and channels
- Use CRM platforms to execute operational sends and ensure business-critical communications run smoothly
- Define and track key KPIs, using data and experimentation to optimise engagement and campaign performance
- Champion best practices in CRM, enabling the team to continually raise the bar in execution and customer impact

- Given the large number of hires we have been making in recent months, we have continuously reviewed both our hiring processes and channels to eliminate bias. We’ve introduced programs that attract diverse talent and we continuously seek to create hiring experiences that are fair, transparent and accessible by all
- We are working on creating a transparent framework for how we grow and develop talent in a scaling organisation. This will include bringing more clarity on internal career opportunities and provide clear expectations on the behaviours we want to see aligned to our values and commitment to building an inclusive organisation
- We have introduced systematic processes to help ensure compensation decisions are data-driven, fair and competitive. We have also invested in Reward capability and expertise to ensure we bring pay equity into every step of the employee journey
