Who you are
- We like people who come from a diverse group of backgrounds that can bring new and challenging ways of thinking to the team. As a minimum to be considered, we’ll need to see evidence of the following in your CV:
- Experience of designing and building RESTful APIs, particularly microservices
- Confidence in building strongly typed applications using typescript
- Experience with industry standard testing libraries such as SuperTest, and PlayWright
- Confidence with designing, building, testing, and deploying services into a cloud environment
- Experience with React and NodeJS
- Experience collaborating with peers and senior engineers with excellent interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of Git and how to safely manage change
- Knowledge and experience of agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation (e.g. TDD, BDD)
- And any experience of these would be really useful
- Experience with NestJS, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Experience building/maintaining CICD pipelines (Jenkins, GH Actions, etc.)
- Familiarity with GCP
