What the job involves
- As the Sales Director at Hebbia AI, you will be at the forefront of our building a best in class scaleable, repeatable sales motion and team
- You will lead and mentor a team of motivated sales professionals, driving the execution of our sales strategy and initiatives
- Your focus will be on expanding our customer base, driving customer growth, and contributing to the Sales organization’s playbooks and activities
- Build, develop and lead a cohesive sales team to meet and exceed targets
- Provide coaching, mentorship and ongoing training to enable team members’ professional growth
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture that aligns with Hebbia AI’s values and mission
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion
- Collaborate with the executive team to define sales goals, objectives and KPIs
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine the sales approach
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure alignment of messaging and value props
- Act as a point of escalation for resolving customer issues and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction
- Leverage your startup experience to drive efficient and effective sales processes that can be scaled
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market segments, and partnerships
- Contribute insights to the product development team based on customer feedback and market demands
- Monitor sales team performance, analyze metrics, and provide regular performance reports to leadership
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies and resource allocation

Founded in 2020, Hebbia is an AI-powered search engine that processes complex requests through the use of deep learning techniques and models that aid in knowledge graph work, semantic analysis, and AI.
The first product the company produced was a Chrome plugin that upgrades the search function to reach beyond traditional text pattern matching, and instead begins to comprehend the query and how answers might be given on the page.
Raising funding from Peter Thiel, Index Ventures, Jerry Yang (Yahoo founder), and Ram Sriram (one of the first Google investors) to name a few, capital has been put towards building the engineering team and accelerating the development of products on the platform, as well as expanding its customer base into that of the professional services industries.
