• We’re looking for a transformational leader to set the global vision and own the growth ambition for our Affiliates channel
• As Head of Affiliates, you'll be responsible for crafting the long-term strategy, building the operating model including a pipeline of affiliate and strategic commercial partners across multiple European markets as well as the US, and delivering step change new customer growth while owning the Affiliates P&L
• You'll lead a team that's responsible for partnerships from concept to onboarding to conversion, translating partner success requirements to the Product, Marketing & Tech teams
• You’ll lead with a mix of commercial creativity and analytical precision, managing Affiliates and partnerships, and making a visible impact on business performance
• Combine senior leadership strategic thinking with hands-on commercial execution
• Drive the vision and roadmap for affiliate marketing across multiple markets, with a focus on scalable, sustainable growth strategies
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Tech, Commercial & Finance teams to embed affiliate success into the core business
• Champion a test-and-learn culture, experimenting with innovative affiliate models, off-product integrations and emerging platforms to drive incremental growth. Be the advocate of using AI for internal process efficiency as well as driving growth for each market
• Build a top-class team, mentoring and inspiring junior team members, fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and results within the Affiliates team
• Identify, recruit, negotiate, onboarding & manage affiliates partnerships across multiple segments and European markets as well as the US
• Own the channel P&L with the Finance team across multiple markets. Constantly challenge blockers to deliver your goal and work cross-functionally to find room for improvement to grow your channel within budget constraints
• Analyse data & monitor the program’s performance, creating a culture of data-driven decision making in the Affiliates team, balanced with a tendency to execution
• Work with the Performance Marketing leadership and Commercial Partnerships to identify the product and marketing initiatives that will create the most value for partners and Trainline
