Who you are
- Proven Sales Expertise: 3+ years closing net new B2B SaaS Enterprise Accounts
- Background in Sales Development: Experience as a top-performing Sales Development Representative or in sales development within a high-growth environment is highly valued
- Exceptional Communication: Strong writing and speaking skills will be key in articulating complex solutions to our clients
- Driven by Results: Self-starter, eager to learn, and proficient in prospecting and project management
- Cold Bold-Calling: You believe in the power of the phone and making human connections!
- Location Requirement: Candidates must be located within an hour’s driving distance of New York City to effectively cover the designated territory
Desirable
- Knowledge of MEDDIC methodology
- Experience in selling to sales or marketing leaders
- Record of surpassing sales goals (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)

- Business Growth & Sales Cycle Mastery: Your key focus will be on driving new business by landing and nurturing customer relationships, coupled with managing the full sales cycle to ensure Orum's expansion in the enterprise market
- Strategic Planning & Collaborative Execution: Engage in strategic planning for customer acquisition and collaborate effectively with Sales Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success Managers. This collaboration is vital for building a robust pipeline and deepening client relationships
- Performance & Growth: Own the responsibility for all aspects of bookings growth, from prospecting to closing new deals, while consistently meeting and surpassing quota-driven goals, representing Orum’s dedication to growth and excellence

Our take
While Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms such as Salesforce and Salesloft have undoubtedly helped shorten the sales cycle, particularly by helping generate high value leads, the onus is still on sales teams to manually reach out to potential customers.
This part of the sales process has long been taken at face value, despite how much time sales agents lose by calling bad numbers, reaching voicemail, and navigating existing account data.
Orum is aiming to change this with an AI powered platform that filters out poor numbers and automates voicemails while calling multiple numbers simultaneously, all in a bid to get sales reps on live calls as quickly and often as possible. That Orum plugs into the major CRMs like Salesforce, rather than competing with them, should help its cause.
Orum’s trajectory has been very positive thus far, frequently expanding its headcount, achieving impressive Series B funding and winning a number of high-profile customers such as Salesforce partner Simplus and data protection company Clumio.
