- We are looking for a domain expert first and foremost. Whether you are currently a Product Manager or are a Senior Analyst looking to make a career switch, your value lies in your ~5 years of experience at a top-tier Hedge Fund
- Domain Expert: You have at least 3-5 years of direct experience working as an Analyst or Associate at a top-tier Hedge Fund. You have lived the workflow and understand the nuance of financial data and research
- AI Enthusiast & Practitioner: You may not be a coder, but you have a strong grasp of Generative AI. You are comfortable with prompt engineering and have a knack for tweaking inputs to get the best outputs. You understand the limitations of LLMs and how to work around them
- Visionary: You can look at the work you used to do, and visualize exactly the functionality and content you’d need to do that seamlessly, and where AI can help skip tedious steps of the process
- An End-to-End Owner: You take programs from idea to launch and own the outcome. You operate autonomously, set your own direction, and take initiative to drive things forward
- A Creative Builder: You don't just analyze - you build. You have personally built or shipped something (a prototype, an automation, a model, or an app, vibe-coded or otherwise), and you are excited to drive the build-out of something great for our customers
- Clear Communicator: You can articulate complex financial concepts to engineers and designers who may not have a finance background
- Adaptable & Resilient: You are excited to move from a role defined by market positions to one defined by user problem-solving. You are ready to learn the craft of Product Management on the fly

- We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with deep, first-hand experience in the investment research process to own how AlphaSense's intelligence shows up across our curated experiences in an AI-first world
- You understand the pressure, the workflows from thesis generation to deep due diligence, and the friction points that exist today
- In this role, you will own the curated experiences where our content meets the user - company profiles, industry profiles, monitoring, and future product surfaces - and you will be accountable for the quality and credibility of what our customers see there
- You will leverage your domain expertise to define those experiences, ensuring that they are not just an accurate representation of our rich and broad content set, but are organized and curated in the ways that make the most sense for our users
- We are hiring someone who can own these experiences end to end and run them autonomously
- You will report to the Senior Director of Product, Search and Curated Experiences, partnering closely on technical execution and the underlying platform that powers these experiences
- Own Curated Experiences End to End: Own the surfaces where our content meets the user - company profiles, industry profiles, monitoring, and future product surfaces - from concept through launch and iteration. You are the single accountable owner, expected to drive these programs forward autonomously
- Lead With Taste and Quality: You will be the primary architect of these experiences. Design, test, and refine the experiences to ensure that they meet the high standards of a professional investor. You will look at a page and immediately know if it’s the right set of content and functionality for a PM or Analyst
- Champion the Customer Perspective: Act as the voice of the user. Translate your deep knowledge of buy-side workflows (getting up to speed, earnings analysis, monitoring, etc.) into actionable product strategies, ensuring that those workflows are easy and intuitive to accomplish
- Identify Opportunities: Analyze market trends and competitor moves to identify where we can leap ahead, using your industry intuition to spot gaps that generalist product managers might miss
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work side-by-side with the Search platform team, Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing. You will bridge the gap between technical capability and business value, explaining why a specific nuance in data matters to a user
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Relentlessly push for better accuracy and speed. You will constantly test our tools against real-world investment scenarios to ensure reliability

Manual research can be a serious pain: financial analysts spend hours every week searching through PDFs one keyword at a time, just to find a single usable insight. To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field, AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it has now set its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
