Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic sales leader who thrives in a startup environment, is passionate about sports media, and can deliver strong revenue performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in digital advertising sales with a successful track record
- Strong relationships with advertisers, brands, and agencies—especially in sports, CPG, finance, and personal care
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced startup environment
- Familiarity with ad tech, programmatic sales, and digital media platforms
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of sports media trends
What the job involves
- Snap! Mobile is seeking a driven Advertising Account Executive to lead the charge in launching and growing our advertising sales business.
- This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of our Student-Athlete Ecosystem, working with advertisers, brands, and agencies who want to connect with youth audiences through sports
- You’ll own the full sales cycle, from strategy to execution, helping shape Snap’s advertising footprint from the ground up
- Develop and execute a robust ad sales strategy aligned with company growth goals
- Identify and engage key brands and industries interested in targeting youth sports audiences
- Build and manage relationships with advertisers, agencies, and sponsors
- Create competitive pricing models, revenue projections, and performance targets
- Lead compelling sales presentations and close strategic advertising partnerships
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Create innovative sponsorship and ad packages leveraging Snap’s digital assets
- Drive cross-platform advertising offerings, including native content and branded integrations
- Collaborate with marketing on media kits, proposals, and sales collateral
- Monitor trends in advertising, sports media, and ad tech to maintain a competitive edge
- Stay informed on competitors and develop unique value propositions to differentiate Snap!
Our take
Youth activities are a vital part of children’s creative and sporting life growing up, but public schools and groups often struggle to raise the funds needed for them. This is what Snap! Raise takes aim at, with its fundraising platform geared towards group and team activities for kids.
Where Snap! Raise sets itself apart is with the automated features it offers. Rather than just a funding page, it shows you a list of everyone you’ve contacted with an fundraising email, how many times you’ve contacted them, and separates them into groups of those who have and haven’t donated as well as showing how much each donor has given. These analytics help users to work out where to target resources for further support.
It operates within a tough market, GoFundMe is the dominant player in fundraising, and there are rival startups aimed at helping run and finance youth teams, like TeamSnap and RallyUp. Snap! Raise has some nicely unique functionalities and has been active in its acquisitions and partnerships to boost its position, but it will have a tough time standing out amongst the crowd.
