Role
Who you are
- Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. You should have the ability to determine what testing method per deliverable type is appropriate (end to end, regression etc).
- You have a keen eye for details. Ability to spot errors in requirements and user interface, and debug automation tests.
- Experience in writing, refining, and executing manual test plans as well as creating and maintaining automation tests on Playwright.
- You bring ideas to the table, overstep your boundaries and challenge those around you. QA are a small and mighty team of three. We are a happy bunch that take pride in our work.
- At Waggel all the disciplines get involved in projects from the get-go; we follow a ‘strong opinions, loosely held’ ethos, so you’ll need to be comfortable getting into discussions with other disciplines about requirements and project pathways.

What the job involves
- You will be the main System Tester in one project at a time, varying length from 2 weeks to 6 months.
- You'll be involved in the delivery process from the beginning to end of projects. Including requirements, manual testing, and implementations with a focus on creating automation tests and building on existing automation red route tests.
- Pragmatism is king when you're punching above your weight in a big industry so you should be comfortable with an MVP philosophy while always pushing for a premium experience with a balanced mindset.
- Constantly adapting communication to suit a variety of stakeholders including engineering, data, creative, customer support, and the claims team.
- Working with and training other team members to maintain automation tests. We learn as a team and grow as a team.
- You will put the customer experience first at all times. Committed to learning all about our customer service team and their needs.
