What the job involves
- As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for helping enable our product and infrastructure to scale with our business, and work on complex projects across our technical stack
- Your past experience will be leveraged to enable and accelerate Vanta’s growth
- Design and build CI and build systems to ensure Vanta engineers are building robust product quickly
- Modernize our testing tooling and tighten iteration loops in the developer experience
- Work on upcoming scalability problems related to our build system, developer workflows / experience, and key infrastructure and services
- Support design reviews and communicate constraints to ensure we are making the right trade-offs
- Pave the path for new critical infrastructure, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth
- Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve their security and prove it

Yet, the benefits of security accreditation are enormous, mainly as many such businesses are working globally and need ways to demonstrate security compliance to one another. Vanta works specifically with startups to help them complete and pass security audits such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
The company is a compliance portal and security monitoring platform that businesses use to assess their risk levels. Vanta carries out a pre-audit of a company's digital security and highlights areas that need to be worked on before a full analysis of all threats is carried out. Other businesses such as Datadog or PagerDuty offer similar security monitoring services, but Vanta monitors its customers throughout the year, allowing any issues to be identified and addressed early on.
