Role
Who you are
- 2+ years in AI/ML-focused pre-sales roles, or 4+ years in technical sales engineering with strong exposure to AI/LLM projects
- Proficiency with modern AI/LLM tools and frameworks (e.g. PyTorch, HuggingFace, OpenAI, Mistral, Llama, etc.)
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with cloud platforms, MLOps, and enterprise tech stacks
- Experience framing customer problems and delivering impactful AI solutions in real-world settings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to connect technical capabilities to business value across audiences
- Background in computer science, engineering, or a related field—advanced degree preferred (but not required)
- Location: London (UK) is strongly preferred, but we could consider UK, France, Germany or UAE for the right candidate
What the job involves
- We're now expanding our EMEA GTM team and looking for a high-caliber AI Solutions Engineer to join as an early member of this growing region
- As part of the pre-sales organisation, you will work at the heart of customer impact, partnering with our co-founders, sales, product, and engineering teams to shape AI strategies, scope and lead technical evaluations, and showcase the value of Snorkel’s core offerings: enterprise platform, services and data-as-a-service
- You will also work across functions to continue building the Snorkel AI Data Platform into the leading enterprise platform for data-centric AI Development & Evaluation
- This is a unique opportunity to help define the future of enterprise AI while rapidly advancing your career in a high-growth, world-class GTM team in EMEA
- As this role will be part of the founding team in EMEA, anyone outstanding in this role will have opportunities to rapidly grow in the organization
- Lead the technical side of the sales cycle—design and run tailored evaluations, demos, and Proof-of-Value (POV) projects aligned to customer outcomes
- Act as a trusted advisor on AI strategy and architecture, working with stakeholders from C-level execs to data scientists and ML engineers
- Own hands-on activities across the AI development lifecycle: from data prep and labeling to LLM tuning, evaluation, and deployment
- Collaborate with sales leaders to influence deal strategy and ensure smooth transitions to post-sales Applied AI Engineering and customer success
- Systematize and scale pre-sales motions—build reusable demos, workshop templates, and POV frameworks
- Partner closely with our co-founders, product, and engineering teams to provide market feedback and shape our roadmap
Our take
Demand for AI is increasing in almost every industry, but the machine learning that fuels it is tedious to set up. In order to train machine learning algorithms, training data must be labelled manually, and this contributes to expenses in time, money and resources when integrating AI within a business.
Snorkel AI develops programmatic approaches to data labelling in order to automate the setup process of machine learning and decrease the required timeframe for a business to begin providing AI services. In addition to these automated data categorization services, the company also integrates data training, management, and analysis into a unified AI-deployment platform.
The complex computer science behind AI setup has resulted in many businesses without computer science backgrounds being left behind, and Snorkel AI has set this as their target audience. And recently, the company raised some serious funding which it plans to use to expand the company;'s engineering, research, and go-to-market efforts.
