Data Scientist, Sleeper

• Strong command of SQL and Python, or similar data-focused languages
• Proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools
• Proven experience with data modeling, pipeline design, and working with large-scale datasets
• Solid understanding of experimental design, causal inference, and statistical analysis
• Ability to visualize and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Prior experience in a product analytics, business intelligence, or data science function

• This role will partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams to drive decision-making through rigorous analysis, scalable pipelines, and impactful insights
• You’ll be instrumental in shaping how we define success, measure performance, and uncover opportunities across key parts of our product and business
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ensure reliable, timely access to core product and business data
• Define and develop core metrics to measure product performance, feature adoption, user engagement, and strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools) to deliver clear, actionable insights to product and business stakeholders
• Design and analyze experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate new features and product changes
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights using statistical analysis and visual storytelling
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, designers, and executives to drive impact through data
• Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities hidden in user behavior and market dynamics
