- Proven experience in high-volume talent acquisition across a variety of functions (ideally in a tech or startup environment). You should be comfortable handling a fast-paced and evolving workload, with an eye for detail
- You’ve got a strong understanding of how to build and promote an employer brand that attracts top-tier candidates, while keeping things authentic and true to the company’s culture
- You love connecting with people, building relationships with candidates, and working alongside hiring managers to truly understand their needs. Your communication skills are great, both written and verbal
- You’re familiar with using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems, and all the tools that make recruiting easier and more efficient
- You’ve got a proactive mindset and are always looking for ways to optimise the recruitment process. You can pivot quickly and handle multiple priorities at once, while keeping everything on track
- You genuinely care about finding the best people for the team, and are excited to help candidates find their perfect role within our company
What the job involves
- To help us scale, we’re looking for an experienced Talent Partner who can juggle high-volume recruitment across a variety of disciplines while maintaining our top-tier employer brand
- You will be part of the growing People and Talent Team based in London
- Owning the Recruitment Process: You’ll manage the full hiring cycle for multiple roles across different teams, from marketing and sales to engineering and operations
- Whether it’s sourcing, interviewing, or offering, you’ll be the driving force behind our recruitment efforts
- Strategising with Hiring Managers: You’ll work closely with hiring managers across the business to understand their teams’ needs, and provide them with clear guidance on the best ways to attract and assess top talent
- Champion Candidate Experience: We want candidates to have a killer experience from the first point of contact. You’ll make sure our values, culture, and mission are reflected at every stage of the recruitment process
- Sourcing Talent: You’ll be using your creative sourcing techniques (job boards, social media, networking, referrals, etc.) to find a variety of top candidates who align with our company’s vision and needs
- Interviewing and Assessing: You’ll be responsible for evaluating candidates on both their technical ability and cultural fit, ensuring that we continue to hire people who align with Runna’s values
- Data-Driven Recruiting: You’ll analyse recruitment metrics to make sure we’re hitting our goals and continuously improving our strategies. It’s all about being efficient and effective!
- In this role, you’ll be spinning plates like a pro, juggling roles, deadlines, and priorities without breaking a sweat

- Introductory chat with Emily, Talent Lead (45 minute video call)
- Interview with Milly, Head of People (30 minutes video call)
- In person task & final round (Office visit) with Emily, Milly & Kerri and wider-team meet & chat with Josh (COO) Holly (CoS)
- Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible

As a way to keep fit, running has shot up in popularity in recent years, partially due to accessibility, especially during the pandemic. But for those who want to take running to the next level – whether that be a 5K or a marathon – it can be difficult to know where to start in terms of a training plan. Runna supplies an app with personalised training plans for all types of runs, to help people achieve their running and fitness goals.
Runna was founded in 2020 by running enthusiasts for running enthusiasts, in response to the lack of tools – save paying a professional trainer – available to help runners train. Although there is a wealth of day-to-day running apps available, where Runna stands out is in providing training plans for specific races, which can be distinguished by distance and goal time. In addition, it does this whilst maintaining a sense of community, which has proven to be a popular feature amongst other running apps, and still caters to a range of experience levels.
Runna has seen consistent subscriber growth since its launch, serving thousands of users globally. The company plans to build and scale into the future, reach more customers, and expand its team. An acquisition by fitness giant Strava will help it on its way to achieving these aims.
