What the job involves
- Aircall is seeking a Regional Marketing Intern to support the execution of the North America marketing strategy
- In this role, you will help bring global priorities to life at a local level; ensuring our campaigns, events, partner initiatives, and GTM programs are tailored, relevant, and impactful for the North American market
- You will work closely with the North America Senior Regional Marketing Manager, becoming an integral part of our local GTM engine, helping transform global campaigns into high-impact local experiences, and ensuring operational excellence across North America’s initiatives
- Support execution of the North America regional marketing plan, helping deliver planned campaigns, events, webinars, partner initiatives, and local activations that ladder up to global priorities
- Review localised and adapted global campaigns, messaging, and assets, ensuring relevance and accuracy for the North America market
- Assist with campaign and event operations, including asset QA and cross-functional coordination and resource requests with central marketing & campaign operation teams
- Help ensure wider marketing and GTM teams have clear visibility into North America marketing initiatives, by supporting the upkeep of marketing calendars, project plans, reporting rhythms, and tracking processes
- Support reporting and performance analysis, helping track leads and pipeline influence from regionally executed initiatives
- Contribute market insights and competitor observations to inform North America strategy and support ongoing GTM alignment
- Partner with local GTM teams on the operational execution of North America marketing initiatives, ensuring consistent communication and visibility across teams
- This internship will be based in San Francisco with an expectation of 2 days a week in office on Monday and Wednesday. Duration is up to 12 months
Our take
Call centres have been a mainstay of sales teams for decades, with the human touch delivering an impression conversion rate of about 30% for inbound calls. However analogue call centres are physical infrastructure-heavy and unable to take advantage of the flexibility afforded by remote and hybrid ways of work. Aircall exists to change that, providing a cloud-based call centre infrastructure that allows sales teams to work from their home offices.
Aircall isn't the only company in this space, and it faces heavy competition from Cloudtalk, another cloud-based call centre solution. However Aircall stands out in the market by its use of open APIs and webhooks, making integration with existing productivity and helpdesk tools much easier, and its superior call quality. Aircall has developed a significant customer base with these strengths, with over 20,000 companies using its platform.
